MyID CMS v12.16 Release: Major Enhancements in Identity Verification and Authentication Systems
MyID CMS v12.16 introduces significant updates to enhance enterprise identity verification and authentication management systems.
YubiKey Bio Multi-Protocol Edition Integration
This version incorporates the YubiKey Bio Multi-Protocol Edition, supporting certificates and passkeys with a single PIN. It features enterprise attestation, fingerprint integration, and a simplified process in MyID CMS for device configuration and management.
Enhanced Passkey Management
Import and centralize lifecycle management of passkeys issued by Entra ID. Administrators can link these to user CMS accounts, control expiry dates, set credential limits, and include them in the CMS audit history.
Entra ID Directory Integration and Certificate Synchronisation
The integration with Entra ID as a user data source allows multi-tenant user searches and batch imports for credential issuance. Automatically sending certificate data to Entra ID when issued enhances link robustness between users and certificates.
Modernised Card Layout Editor and Improved Management Tools
Access the updated card layout editor directly through a web browser. Configuration settings and directory connections can now be managed and edited via the Operator Client, boosting flexibility and security.
REST APIs for External Directory Integration
Connect MyID CMS to identity and access management systems to facilitate user searches and batch imports, improving synchronisation and security measures.
Maintenance Mode and Translation Enhancements
New Maintenance Mode enables offline management of CMS Server APIs for maintenance without disrupting operations. Translation processes have also been streamlined for better accessibility of MyID web services.
Integration Updates
Support for the latest IDEMIA ID-One PIV ensures compatibility with updated configurations.
MyID CMS v12.16 simplifies and integrates processes, allowing businesses to manage their security infrastructure and identity verification systems more effectively.
