What’s New in MyID CMS v12.17
Managing digital identities and credentials just became significantly easier with the latest updates to MyID CMS. These enhancements focus on simplifying complex processes while strengthening security across the board.
Smarter Credential Profile Management
The credential profile management interface has been completely refreshed with a modern, web-based design. The new tab-based layout makes it remarkably simple to configure rules governing credential issuance, device settings, and data requirements. Need to review previous configurations? Accessing historic versions, including archived profiles, is now straightforward. Integration has also improved, with direct links to credential profiles available from device and request pages in the MyID Operator Client.
Modernised Card Issuance
The Issue Card operation receives a contemporary makeover, streamlining the process of issuing smart cards, security keys, visual identity badges, and physical access credentials. Whether accessed through the MyID Operator Client or launched independently via the desktop client, the experience is now cleaner and more efficient.
Infrastructure Made Easy
Remote installation capabilities transform server deployment. Organisations can now script and automate MyID CMS Server installations, making it simple to deploy additional servers for load balancing or failover configurations. This templated approach saves time and ensures consistency across environments.
Better Operational Control
New features in the Operator Client enhance job management through the ‘Manage Jobs’ report, providing visibility into system tasks like card record imports and credential verification. Administrators can now suspend and resume all requests system-wide, perfect for managing workload during peak periods. A new history tab delivers quick access to audit records for complete request transparency.
Enhanced Biometric Security
MyID CMS PIV Edition now integrates with MyID SecureVault 3.0, enabling organisations to segregate sensitive biometric data—fingerprints, facial recognition, and iris scans—from the main database for additional protection layers.
