Unveiling MyID CMS 12.11: Enhanced Security and Efficiency with Our Latest Software Release
We’re excited to unveil our latest credential management system update, MyID CMS 12.11. This update introduces self-service collection and management of YubiKeys and other smart cards on Apple Mac computers with M-Series processors. It seamlessly integrates with the MyID Self-Service Request Portal for swift replacement of temporary credentials.
Another significant addition is the extension of MyID CMS to produce printed identity documents, adhering to organizational policies and ensuring audit compliance. Inactive accounts are now closely monitored, with the software tracking last logon to the system and disabling administrative access to accounts that have been inactive for a set period.
The new Reassign Credential API allows for the reassignment of issued credentials between related user accounts, easing transitions between roles. We’ve also boosted our integration with Microsoft InTune and VMWare Workspace One UEM, allowing for multiple instances of each Mobile Device Management (MDM) to be connected to the MyID server.
The functionality for provisioning Mobile Identity Documents has been extended, offering a simplified web-based enrolment process. Plus, we’ve integrated capabilities to report on certificates without UserSID values, helping you prepare for changes enforced by Microsoft in February 2025.
The update includes support for Primekey v8.2 Certificate Authority, Entrust nShield 5c Hardware Security Module, larger key sizes for selected devices, and more.
