In the constantly interconnected IT landscape, security and digital certificates (TLS/x.509) are becoming more and more important, while on the other hand cost pressure is increasing. Digital certificates encrypt or sign electronic communication and confirm the identity of devices or organisations.

To manage the growing number of certificates, we have developed the certificate manager essendi xc as well as complementary tools. The most important features: self-service portal, (full) automation of certificate processes and the distribution of digital certificates to the target systems. essendi xc is also a useful support for compliance measures (NIST, DIN ISO, …). As a fully comprehensive management system for all types of certificates, it covers their complete life cycle, supports complete handling and thus increases operational security. At the same time, it reduces process costs.

IT consulting as well as individual software development and software tests complete our offer. In this way, we contribute to the optimisation of existing conditions and can realise requirements that cannot be implemented using standard software. This reduces costs, increases performance and drives innovation.

Founded in 2000, essendi it initially focused on the implementation of individual software applications and consulting for financial service providers. Over the years, we have expanded our services to the industrial and commercial sector as well as other industries. In the meantime, we are active throughout Europe with around 60 employees from our locations in Schwaebisch Hall and Munich. Today, we combine the implementation of innovative software solutions with a broad IT security product portfolio in the area of digital certificates.
