The integration of Intercede’s MyID credential management system with the Entrust Certificate Authority (CA), CA Gateway, Entrust Smart Card Printer, and Entrust nShield HSM products have been showcased in a newly released solution overview.

Developed by Intercede and Entrust, the solution overview displays the proven strong authentication solution the two companies jointly offer.

Together, Intercede and Entrust deliver an end-to-end solution to provision cryptographic protected credentials using public key infrastructure (PKI).

How the solution works

The Entrust Certificate Authority generates trusted digital certificates used to identify end users, also providing secure key archive and recovery capabilities.

Entrust nShield HSM secures private keys used by the CA and MyID to protect data at rest and in transit.

Entrust CA Gateway enables connections to on-premise, cloud or hybrid CA technologies.

MyID credential management provides all of the business processes required to issue PKI based digital identities to end users on secure devices, including full lifecycle management. Out-of-the-box integration with Entrust Certificate Authority, Entrust CA Gateway, Entrust nShield HSM, plus connectivity to sources of user data such as Active Directory or identity management systems.
