Intercede showcase the capabilities of MyID® credential management to leaders from Europe’s military, police and governments

Intercede is this week showcasing the capabilities of MyID® credential management to leaders from Europe’s military, police and governments.
The 5th Central and Eastern European Cyber Security Showcase, hosted by the Department for International Trade at the British Embassy in Vienna, opens up the opportunity for leading companies from across the UK’s cyber security industry to present their capabilities to senior military, policing and governmental personnel from across Central and Eastern Europe.
Representing thousands of personnel and employees, not to mention millions of citizens, many of the delegates at the 5th CEE Cyber showcase are looking for a robust solution to manage and issue digital identities, ensuring they have optimum protection against data breach.
Proven across many of the world’s aerospace and defence manufacturers, police forces, military and governmental organisations, MyID powers identity certainty so that IT leaders, senior management and governments alike know that only approved individuals have access to their secure networks, systems and data.
A system that securely issues and manages more than 15 million identities worldwide, MyID removes the necessity of passwords for user access and instead uses cryptographic-protected credentials – a feature that greatly elevates the security and integrity of digital identities and removes the very real threat of password hacks.
Whether the challenge is compliance to regulations, or a focus on best practice identity issuance and management for organisations responsible for sensitive data, MyID is the best in class solution for managing the threat of identity and data compromise.
The Intercede team in Vienna will be highlighting the potential for MyID to run on-premise for organisations that need a CMS to interoperate with existing architecture; MyID supports a wide range of certificate authorities (CAs), hardware security modules (HSMs), middleware, minidrivers, APIs, smart cards, printers, bio readers and smartphones.
Delegates at the event will also have the opportunity to sit in two talks, delivered by Intercede Solutions Architect, Jamie Smith, outlining best practice digital identity management using PKI and how to ensure cyber security risk is minimised for identity access. In both talks Jamie will include real use cases where MyID has worked to secure user identities and internet of things (IoT) technology.
