This notice describes how our mobile apps collect, use & protect your personal data
OVERVIEW

Protection of your personal data is very important to us, and we follow reasonable industry standards to ensure the proper treatment of personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws as amended from time to time. This Privacy Notice explains how and for what purposes we collect, use, retain, disclose, and safeguard the information you provide to us.
Personal Data
Personal data refers to any data (whether by itself or when linked with other information in the possession of, or likely to come into our possession) that can be used to identify a specific living person. Application of this notice
This notice applies to the identity management mobile apps that we offer. This Notice does NOT apply to any website, product or service operated by any third-party, even if the website links to (or from) our website.
In particular, our identity apps are generally used by third party identity providers or relying parties (for example, officials needing to verify the authenticity of a smart card credential). Any personal data that is collected in these cases is completely invisible to Intercede – the app simply connects the user with the 3rd party systems.
It is important that you review the privacy practices of any third-party who may be handling your personal data before deciding whether to provide personal information. We are not responsible in any way for third-party services or the collection or protection of your personal information on those services
Collection and Use of Personal Data
Personal information that is held by Identity Agent and MyID Authenticator apps
These apps store keys and public certificates that are issued by the identity provider to which the app connects. Those certificates may include personally identifiable information such as names and email addresses, but simply form part of the normal PKI infrastructure required for authentication and signing. This information is not shared with or under the control of Intercede, unless the provider passes the data to us under a separate agreement.
Personal information that is held by Card Checker apps
These apps store records of smart card identity checks that are performed by the person using the app. The app will interrogate a presented card, reading PKI certificates and other data from the card. The app user may choose to upload this information to another service. Any data collected is not shared with Intercede, unless the provider passes the data to us under a separate agreement.
Use, Sharing, Retention and Disclosure of your Personal Data
Intercede does not collect or receive personal data from the apps and therefore is not able to use the data.
Changes to this notice
We may need to make changes to this Privacy Notice for operational or legal reasons. We will do our best to let you know if we change the way that your data is processed, by posting on our website and emailing existing data subjects.
You have the right to withdraw any consent that you have given to our use of your data at any time.
Access, Correction and Complaints – Contact Us
