MyID CMS v12.15: Enhanced Security and Streamlined Management

We’re excited to announce the release of MyID CMS v12.15, delivering significant improvements across enterprise security, reporting capabilities, and user experience.

Enhanced FIDO Collection

Our enhanced FIDO collection streamlines Passkey registration on Windows with a unified experience for both Passkeys and certificates. The new process supports Entra ID integration and Enterprise Attestation validation on compatible devices. Organisations can now enforce PIN policies with minimum length requirements and mandatory PIN changes at first use. These improvements reduce support overhead, increase device trust, and demonstrate auditable compliance with security policies.

Powerful Report Designer

The new Report Designer significantly improves how you create and manage custom reports in MyID CMS. This intuitive tool lets you leverage CMS data objects and attributes, join information across sources, and apply flexible filtering options. With built-in revision management, teams can create drafts for approval before publishing. Reports can be exported and imported between installations, making it easier to develop in pre-production environments before deploying to production.

Enhanced Key Recovery for Third Parties

We’ve expanded key recovery capabilities to support third-party access for supervisors, auditors, and law enforcement. The new process maintains security through mandatory two-person control for requests and approvals. Recovered keys can be delivered to smartcards or security keys, with confidential secret management and restricted activity log access ensuring process integrity.

Modernised Interface and API

Our ongoing modernisation continues with updated Group Management features, enhanced notifications, and improved UX elements including search functionality and refresh buttons throughout the interface.

Integration Updates

We have rolled out updates for Certificate Authorities (Digicert One and Primekey EJBCA) and for Smart Card Printers (HID/Fargo SDK 3.1.0, Fargo HDP 6600 and IDP-81).
