What’s new in MyID CMS 2026.2.0

MyID® CMS 2026.2.0 tackles two hard problems at once: moving away from ageing card management systems, and preparing credentials for a post-quantum world. Both now sit inside a single platform your teams already know.

Bring legacy credentials into one managed view

Extended APIs in this release import smart cards and certificates issued by legacy credential management systems directly into MyID CMS. Rather than running old and new systems side by side, you gain a single view of every credential, then apply consistent audit and governance controls across all of them. Certificate revocation, renewal and standard replacement processes support migration at scale, so large programmes can proceed in stages instead of a risky single cutover. Where devices use a Windows Minidriver and their administrative credentials are known to MyID CMS, imported credentials keep full lifecycle management too: PIN reset, certificate updates, and secure card erasure and reuse.

Extend post-quantum cryptography to mobile devices

As organisations plan their move to post-quantum cryptography, MyID CMS continues to widen PQC support. This release adds an updated mobile identity agent framework that delivers PQC certificates to mobile devices. That gives MDM platforms and mobile applications a practical building block for adopting next-generation cryptographic standards, well before the deadlines that will eventually force the change.

Together, these updates let you retire legacy infrastructure and prepare your credentials for post-quantum, on your own timetable, backed by a company that has issued high-assurance identities for over 20 years.
