The growing cyber threat
US federal agencies are under continuous cyber threat from state-sponsored, organised crime, activist and terrorist hackers. To protect federal data, systems and networks from unauthorised access, the US Government has legislated federal agencies to comply with best-practice cyber security. FIPS 201, implemented in response to presidential directive HSPD-12, defines the hardware, systems and processes for the secure issuance and maintenance of high-assurance, trusted credentials to federal employees and suppliers. MyID issues and manages FIPS 201-compliant Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credentials to cards and derived PIV credentials to mobile devices, providing the highest levels of security for mobile working and ensuring compliance with US federal security standards.

MyID CMS is deployed across civilian, defence and intelligence agencies within the US federal government. Due to the classified nature of some deployments we cannot name all customers publicly, but our cleared federal team holds appropriate clearances and can provide references through appropriate channels.
Yes. MyID CMS supports DoD CAC issuance and lifecycle management. CAC credentials use the same PIV applet standard as civilian PIV cards and are fully supported within MyID's FIPS 201-compliant workflows.
MyID cloud deployments are hosted on FedRAMP-authorised infrastructure. Our federal team can provide full details of the authorisation boundary and available compliance documentation including System Security Plan (SSP) excerpts.
MyID CMS supports both employee PIV and contractor PIV-Interoperable (PIV-I) credentials within the same deployment. Different card profiles, vetting levels and certificate policies are configured per population, with a single admin console for the entire programme.
