The conference programme has just finished and the remaining delegates are starting to make their way out of the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore, giving us time to reflect on a busy two days at Identity Week Asia 2019.
We’ve enjoyed a constant flow of customers, potential customers and partners to the Intercede stand over the course of the event. Conversations that have involved discussions around both government and enterprise projects in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region.
In addition to the many conversations that we’ve had on the Intercede stand, Chief Product Officer, Allen Storey has been kept busy with two speaking engagements.
Allen’s first talk, covering the falling barriers to strong authentication for enterprises thanks to technology like MyID® Professional, sparked interest from a number of attendees who were keen to find out more once the talk had concluded.
Allen’s final talk was also one of the last on day one, a challenging time slot but the subject matter – mobilising citizen identity – proved to be a popular one, ensuring Allen had a packed audience. The talk looked at how governments around the world are enabling citizens to securely access information through their mobile devices and outlined how MyID software provides the issuance and lifecycle management control governments need to make mobile citizen identity happen.
As the laptops are packed away, jackets and bags collected, we’re feeling very positive about the event and further opportunities Singapore and wider Asia Pacific region have to offer for our MyID software platform. We look forward to continuing our conversations with those we have met at Identity Week Asia over the coming days.
