Intercede receives Lenel Factory Certification under OpenAccess Alliance Program
Intercede’s MyID identity and credential management solution interfaces with the Lenel OnGuard access control system
Reston, VA — Leading digital identity expert Intercede today announced that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP). Intercede’s MyID interfaces with the OnGuard access control system, enabling a single smart card to be used for logical access (e.g. logging into Windows) and physical access to buildings. By managing both logical and physical access from an integrated solution, customers can enhance security and reduce operating costs.
“Intercede has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard to enable management of smart cards from a single system,” said Gidon Lissai, Director of Strategic Alliances, Lenel. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”
“Interfacing these systems provides a comprehensive identity and access control solution for organizations wishing to comply with federal government standards such as FIPS 201,” states Allen Storey, Product Director at Intercede.
