Explore the Latest Enhancements in MyID CMS v12.13
We’re excited to introduce the latest update to MyID CMS v12.13, designed to enhance certificate inventory control and streamline management processes. This release brings new capabilities for handling certificates within your IT environment, even those not originally issued through MyID.
Key Features of the Update:
Enhanced Certificate Inventory Control
Now, import certificates using the MyID Core API and associate them seamlessly with existing user accounts. Alternatively, use certificate data to automatically create new accounts. These enhancements ensure that all certificates are centrally visible and manageable within the MyID CMS, appearing in detailed reports and user data views.
Lifecycle Management
Stay proactive with certificate expiry notifications and manage renewals efficiently. MyID CMS enables you to supersede old certificates with new ones issued through the platform, facilitating a smooth migration from legacy certificate authorities to MyID’s robust system.
Key Recovery Integration
Import certificates that include private keys, integrating them directly into MyID’s key recovery processes. This is particularly beneficial for organisations transitioning from legacy systems, ensuring secure and compliant management of sensitive encrypted data.
SecureVault Integration
Address the complexities of cryptographic key management and compliance requirements with integration into MyID SecureVault. This separate, secure solution provides a CA-independent and cryptographically protected environment for key escrow, enhancing overall security and compliance.
Windows Self Service Client Updates
The update also includes enhanced self-service features in the MyID Client for Windows, improving the management of smart cards, security keys, and other secure access devices. It simplifies configuration, deployment, and incorporates authentication from external providers like Microsoft Entra ID.
