Working with Intel to deliver a more secure and convenient alternative to passwords

Enterprises are finally accepting that passwords are no longer an adequate form of protection against opportunistic cybercriminals, and are instead looking for stronger alternatives.

Through our ongoing collaboration with Intel®, we’re pleased to say we’re now able to provide a secure alternative to passwords or physical smartcards for business.

By integrating Intel® Identity Protection Technology (Intel® IPT)* with Intercede’s MyID® technology we can now deliver a simple method for protecting access to enterprise data from security threats and fraud.

Using Intercede’s MyID credential management system, Intel® IPT-protected credentials can be deployed to large user populations across a vast geographical spread, replacing weak passwords with a hardware-protected digital credential.

MyID technology supports the issuing of credentials to the Intel® IPT environment for Windows logon and general certificate usage. This includes the sending and receiving of secure email and connection via VPN.

MyID has easy to use self-service capabilities which help to keep deployment and help desk costs to a minimum. By providing centralised auditing and reporting, MyID also gives organisations enhanced visibility of who has access to their systems at any given time.

Intel® IPT can be used with any Certificate Authority (CA) supported by MyID. The Intel® Protected Transaction Display (PTD) helps ensure that sensitive PIN entry is protected from the prying eyes or malware.

If you’d like to discuss the solution further or organise a demo, please do not hesitate to contact us.

No computer system can be absolutely secure. Check with your system manufacturer or retailer or learn more at http://ipt.intel.com/.
