Intercede - Maritime Credentialing Program Update

Intercede, the producer of the MyID Identity and Credential Management System (IDCMS) software, is pleased to provide an update to the announcement made by the Company on 22 October 2008. Intercede can now confirm that more than one million personnel have been enrolled in the United States Department of Homeland Security's Transportation Worker Identification Credential program (TWIC). This is the world's largest maritime credentialing initiative and covers approximately 149 port locations nationwide.

It notes that more than 150 fixed enrollment centers will ultimately vet more than 1.2 million maritime transport workers by the compliance deadline of 14 April 2009.
