Response To Press Speculation

Intercede, a leading developer and supplier of smart card and identity management software, notes comments in today’s press speculating that Bartronic, an Indian radio technology company, may be considering making an offer for Intercede.

Intercede can confirm that, at this stage, no contact has been made by Bartronic expressing an interest in making an offer for the Company.

Intercede will make further announcements on this subject when it is appropriate to do so.
