The Intercede management team incorporates a variety of professionals combining large international business experience with extensive software industry expertise, a substantial proportion of it specific to the IT Security market.

Richard Parris
Chairman & CEO

Richard Parris has over 20 years experience in the IT industry. He founded Intercede in 1992, and has led the Group during all stages of its growth from its inception as an e-commerce consulting company through to becoming the third security management software business to be listed on the London Stock Exchange. Between 1984 and 1992 he held a range of senior technical and sales management positions at Boeing Computer Services in the US and Europe, including working as a new business manager for network management software products.

Jayne Murphy
Operations Director

Jayne Murphy has over 20 years experience of the public sector, operational and human resource management. She was formerly the Chief Executive of Coventry Healthcare NHS Trust from 1997 to 1998. Prior to this she was Director of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive from 1993 to 1996 at the same Trust. From 1989 to 1992 Jayne was Business Manager of Medicine for Walsgrave Hospital NHS Trust, and before this she held a range of management positions at Walsgrave Hospital.

Andrew Walker
Finance Director

Andrew Walker has over 20 years of financial and senior management experience with a variety of large international organisations. He was Group Financial Controller of The Rugby Group PLC from 1995 to 2000, and an Executive Board member from 1997. From 1993 to 1995 he was Finance Director for APV Refrigeration & Freezer Division, and from 1991 to 1993 he was Finance Director for APV Vent-Axia Industrial Division. From 1990 to 1991 he was Group Chief Accountant for APV plc. Before joining APV plc, Andrew worked for Price Waterhouse from 1981 to 1990.

Dr Chris Edwards
Chief Technical Officer

Chris has over 20 years experience within the IT industry. Following his Post Graduate research, he worked for SER Systems Ltd, the largest document management supplier in Europe, where he was Product Architect for a large document management suite.

Chris's expertise spans a number of areas including web based applications, workflow management, knowledge management and enterprise resource planning.
